This press kit was created for a collaboration between Acnes, a skincare brand specializing in sensitive and troubled skin, and Maru Is a Puppy, a Korean webtoon (digital comic) about a poodle mix named Maru who turns into a five-year-old girl. Inspired by the story of Maru calling her owner “big sister,” the kit reimagines her packing Acnes products to care for her sister’s skin. The backpack-shaped package features movable ears and a tongue-shaped handle that lifts to open. Inside, a preschool classroom scene is illustrated with the collaboration products arranged naturally within the artwork. The GWP items blend into the setting, featuring a keyring hanging on the chalkboard, with a pouch and sketchbook-inspired brochure hidden inside Maru’s frog toy box. The kit captures both Acnes’s gentle skincare spirit and the warmth of Maru’s world.
